Region's Leading Engineering and Consulting Firm to Expand Nationally Through Purchase of CMX
MANALAPAN, N.J. -- Schoor DePalma, the region's premier engineering and consulting firm, today announced an agreement to purchase CMX, a 280-person engineering and consulting firm with office locations in Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa, and soon to be Peoria, Arizona and Chihuahua, Mexico. Schoor DePalma's recapitalization partner, Trivest Partners, L.P., will manage all financing elements of the acquisition agreement. No financial terms were disclosed.

Based in the Phoenix metropolitan area, CMX specializes in civil engineering, sports engineering, construction management, survey, water resources, and planning.
CMX will continue to operate under its current name and will be a subsidiary of Schoor DePalma.
Don Dillon, Founding Principal of CMX, will be added as a member of the firm's Board of Directors. The remainder of the CMX management team will continue to serve in their current capacities.
