MAITLAND, FL – ADCS Clinics (“ADCS”) announced it has completed the acquisition of Denver Dermatology Consultants, P.C of Denver, Colorado. The dermatology practice was founded in 1977 by Dr. Robert Wright and consists of 3 locations; Denver, Thornton and Wheat Ridge.
Dr. Wright grew up in Peru, Indiana and attended Wabash College and Indiana University before attending Indiana University School of Medicine. He served as station flight surgeon at Quonset Point Naval Airstation following his internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington and flight surgery training in Pensacola, Florida. He did his dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati followed by a year of volunteer work in Ethiopia in a mission hospital and clinic. This was followed by a year of teaching and research in the University of Cincinnati Department of Dermatology. Since moving to Denver in 1977 and starting Denver Dermatology Consultants, he has been active in the teaching program at the University of Colorado Department of Dermatology and has served as President of the Colorado Dermatologic Society. His interests include all phases of Dermatology. Dr. Wright is a member of several professional societies including the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology for special competence in dermatopathology.
